NFL Official Betting Partners

There are a number of sportsbooks available to bet on the NFL. Some will use official league data, while others may use an alternative feed. Each sportsbook will receive a percentage of each bet called “vig.”

BetMGM, WynnBET, Caesars Sportsbook, and DraftKings are official betting partners for the NFL. Their bets are accepted at sportsbooks and betting lounges in stadiums. This year, the NFL expects to generate about $270 million in revenue.

In mid-2017, the NFL saw a Supreme Court decision coming, and started researching how to legalize sports betting in the U.S. It has since made significant progress. The NFL spoke with gaming operators, governing bodies, and other organizations about how it can benefit from legalized betting.

The NFL has struck first international sportsbook sponsorships in the United Kingdom, Australia, and Latin America. A few sportsbooks are already licensed to offer bets on the NFL in their own states.

MLB is also close to securing a new deal. Last season, nine of 20 English Premier League teams had sponsorship agreements with gaming entities.

However, the NBA has only one official sportsbook partner. MGM Resorts will not participate in the NBA’s stadium, and its books will not be included in the NBA’s official betting program. Instead, games will be available on non-MGM sportsbooks.

Among the other teams in the NBA, the Boston Celtics and Cleveland Cavaliers have an agreement with IMG ARENA, which provides live scoring and data. In 2020, the Detroit Tigers will sign a first-ever MLB partnership with PointsBet.
