Official Betting

Official betting is a type of gambling where you place a wager on an event that will take place at a future date. Examples include betting on a tennis player to win the US Open in September or a baseball team to win a pennant during the season.

Betting on an official game is governed by the rules and regulations of your state. It is important to be aware of those rules before placing your bets.

Statistically dependent markets – These are settled when the necessary statistics for the bet are available on the league’s official website or by the league’s official statistical provider, if applicable. Any subsequent statistical changes after these markets are settled will not result in re-settlement of the bet.

Player markets – These are settled when the player(s) that are listed in the bet are listed as starting for their designated team, and have at least one pitch (if pitcher) or one plate appearance (if position player) during the game. The inning for which the player is listed is determined by the official ruling of Major League Baseball on what constitutes a plate appearance for a given player.

Head to head Player Props – These are settled when the specific players are listed as starting for their designated teams, and have at least one pitch (if a pitcher) or one plate appearance (if a position player) during the game. The corresponding inning for which the player is listed is established by the official ruling of Major League Baseball on whether the plate appearance was recorded against the listed pitcher.
