This is at the player’s risk and may result in a ruling other than what they intended. In addition, the TD can enforce penalties for poor card and chip visibility and countability, acting out of turn, excessive chatter, offensive hygiene, and abusive behavior.
In the United States, state regulated online poker sites are licensed by individual states. This means that only players from the same state can play at those sites. However, interstate licensing is becoming a reality and some of the world’s largest regulated online poker sites have recently moved to allow players from all over the country to play on their platforms.
For example, the WSOP Nevada and New Jersey and the 888poker site in Delaware have formed a single network with each other and are now allowing players from both sites to participate in each others’ tournaments. The BetMGM Poker PA and Borgata Poker NJ platforms function as separate in-state platforms but are also powered by the partypoker US network, and those two sites will likely be able to share players with their sister site in Michigan fairly soon.
