The NFL Signs Five-Year Official Betting Partnership

With its official betting partnership with Caesars, DraftKings and FanDuel, the NFL has signed on with a hefty sum. The three sportsbooks will receive exclusive league data and promotional content to further market their brands and tie them to league statistics. If the five-year deal continues, the league will receive almost $1 billion in revenue. If the partnership falls through, the league can opt out after three years. However, that may not be enough to convince the league.

The PGA TOUR and bet365 have extended their three-year partnership. The company will become the series’ first official betting operator outside of North America. The deal includes odds on leaderboards and player pages, and the exclusive content of TOURCast, which features 3D renderings of every golf shot. The deal will also see the companies collaborating with the PGA TOUR to promote their betting opportunities. The partnership will make the company the official betting operator for the PGA Tour in other markets, including Ireland, Australia and the UK.

In addition to its new official betting partnership, the NHL also has expanded its daily fantasy wagering offerings. Earlier this year, FanDuel and BetMGM signed multi-year deals with the league. The deal was the first with a daily fantasy sports site. The NHL has also extended its agreement to Canada, where sports wagering became legal last year. Additionally, the two companies will continue to receive custom content for NHL-controlled media channels, including its official website.
